Today’s Topic is all about how I increased my Pinterest views, resulting in a huge traffic increase to my websites.
….and you guys. I’m thrilled to share the recent success I’ve had!
Part of what makes it so exciting is that I’ve increased my Pinterest views from 19k to 900k in less than 5 months.
Stay tuned and I’ll share with you the three simple strategies that I used.
But first, a little background…
Is Pinterest Right for my Business?
Back when I started Vintage And Restore By K, I loved using Pinterest for my own personal gain, but didn’t use it much for my business.
Vintage And Restore By K is a DIY kind of business and it would have made perfect sense to promote it via Pinterest….but between prepping for shows/markets, creating content for the website/social media and managing the day to day tasks, it was almost impossible to find time.
Last summer, we moved across the state and we’re planning on cutting back on shows once the move was complete. It simply didn’t make as much sense to be vendors at markets with the additional 250 miles (at minimum) of travel.
Then, at the beginning of this year, I decided to launch this blog in order to share my DIY home experiences and as a creative business owner.
At this point, I knew Pinterest strategies needed to jump to the top of the priority list.
So, I rolled up my sleeves and started doing research.
I read several blog posts that were helpful in the sense that they helped me get my Pinterest set up the right way and provided tips on how often to pin, what to pin, etc…
But it wasn’t quite enough to get my Pinterest account to the level I knew it could be.
The BEST Pinterest Growth Course: How I Increased My Pinterest Views
I came across Alex and Lauren’s Pinterest Traffic Avalanche course several months ago and was intrigued.
It’s important for me to share that I am (now) very cautious when it comes to purchasing courses.
Over the years, and especially in the early days, I thought purchasing courses and following other’s strategies and advice would be the reason business would thrive!
What I learned is not all courses are created equal. And, many of the instructors’ success is due to having thousands of dollars to invest in advertising. I didn’t have that.
One course I bought was $1,997 and it was all about Facebook advertising. While the information was good, I quickly came to realize that this guy spent thousands of dollars a month (even right off the bat) toward Facebooks ads.
While the theory makes perfect sense, I’ll say it again….I didn’t have thousands of dollars to invest in ads every month.
I share that story to drive home the reason why I am cautious about purchasing ‘yet another course’.
After doing a bit of research on the Pinterest Traffic Avalanche course and finding only positive reviews, I decided to give it a try.
My Top 3 Pinterest Strategies:
The strategies I’m about to share on how I Increased my Pinterest views are what I took from Alex and Lauren.
Implementing what I learned from them grew my Pinterest monthly viewers from 19,000 to over 900,000 in less than 5 months!
Here is a screenshot of where my views were as of today:
I just hit over 900,000 monthly viewers, which has resulted in a huge increase in traffic to both the Vintage And Restore By K website and this brand new blog.
Without further ado, here are my strategies:
Pinterest Strategy 1:
Create new, fresh pins that lead to my websites.
I typically aim to pin 2-5 pins that are created from my own website content. This number will increase as I post new blogs and will only help website traffic.
Note: If you are wondering, I use Canva to create pins from my content. Alex and Lauren cover this in more detail in their course
Eventually, I’d like to get it to where most of what I pin is from my own website/content. My goal is 75% of my content/ 25% of other’s content.
Pinterest Strategy 2:
Pin at least 25 times per day.
I already have relevant boards set up, so I simply find content that makes sense to add to those boards.
I’ve noticed there is a direct correlation between how many times I pin and how many monthly viewers I have.
For example, when I was pinning 15 times per day, my monthly viewers were around 400k.
Note: the 2-5 pins I create from my own content is included in the 25 pins
Pinterest Strategy 3:
Use Tailwind Tribes to help me find quality content for each board. Tailwind is also how I manage my daily pin scheduling.
If you don’t have a Tailwind account yet, I strongly encourage you to sign up! They offer a free version (with some limitations) or a paid version that opens the gates to scheduling bliss!
While you don’t NEED to use Tailwind to see Pinterest success, it will make you life way easier and save a ton of time.
If my story is sounding anything like your current situation, head over to Pinterest Traffic Avalanche by clicking here to learn more about their course.
If you are on the fence at all, I can say first hand that Alex and Lauren’s course is THE REASON my Pinterest is growing…and is the reason it will continue to grow.
What I really appreciate about them is they started out as bloggers (and have another website that supports that niche), and one of the reasons they decided to create a Pinterest course is because of their success from using it to promote their main blog.
In other words, they ACTUALLY experienced success with Pinterest, then created a course for others to mirror their success. They don’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk…and are very successful at it!
They are also very honest people (and darn fun to learn from too!). You can only sign up as an affiliate for them if you have taken their course. So you know if someone is promoting their course (eh-hem, me!) they have paid for the course and love it enough to share it with the world.
Here’s to your Pinterest success!
P.S. If you’re still hesitant, you might want to know they’ve got a 60-day money back guarantee. Try it out and if you don’t see success after implementing their strategies, just ask for a refund within 60 days. Money back guarantee = no risk! Check out their course here.
